runs rough at idle?? if so,, you need to see if it is missing on 1 particular cylinder or across the board,, have you checked plug wires? no oil in plug wire tubes? did you use NGK ZFR5F-11 spark plugs ? is it a 4 or 6 cylinder ?

if all the rest is good, then you might look at disbutbor cap, and spark wires.

its a 4 cylinder accord, anyway problem solved i changed the plugs to NGK my bosch plugs super 4failed in just a span of a few months ( less than 6 months im sure and around 6 thousand kms run not miles)hmmm....

1.I was wondering what caused this premature failure with my bosh super 4 plugs?
2. And this kind of plugs good or safe for honda engines?

thanks!

I have tried the platinum plus 4's from bosch in my nissan van, and i was very unhappy with them, didnt' have the problems you did thankfully lol. But my gas mileage went down by about 5 miles to the gallon and it didn't have any more power or anything they advertise etc.

I just stick with plain ole, single contact platinum plugs reasonably priced, long lasting, good spark.

bosch plugs are awful for hondas, they cause alot of other ignition compnent failures. I personally use Autolites although most on here think im nutty for it, but NGK's are the safest way to go.
