Just was curious i have a 2002 accord 2.3 . When i drive on the highway it seems that my rmp's are too high. At around 110 km/h my rpm's are running about 2700 or so which seems really high. I'm wondering if someone can let me know there rpm's at this speed to compare.
I'm also wondering if maybe it's just because it's a 4 cylinder and must work that much harder compared to a 6 on the highway.

Well that doesn't make me worry too much any more then, thanks. My accord takes a while to accelerate into the higher RPMs though. Could it be a problem or maybe because it's an I4
Tippman has a V6, which is a completely different auto-trans than your 4-cyl. Best comparison would be from someone who has a 98-02 4-cyl auto. There's GOTTA be a lot of those on this board.
I used to have one, but don't remember the rpm. Still, 2500rpm at 75mph sounds about right from my vague memory.
For Scott's, 110kph = 68mph. For his to spin 2700 seems a little higher, but we don't know if he has a 5-speed?
