RPM need goes up and down

Default RPM need goes up and down
Hi.. I own a 1998 honda accord v6.. I recently replaced my engine with another v6. Anyways, when i warm the car up, the rpm needles jump up and down between 1 and 2 RpM's. And the engine sounds like someone is pressing the gas pedal....Could anyone tell me what could be wrong.

classic fast idle thermo valve problem, check the diy section
