Seatbelt Alarm won't go off?

well what i did was remove the lil seatbelt warning control box underneath the passanger seat, since my automatic seatbelts don't work anyway, because honda dealer wanted 100$ for diag. deposit in case it was something not part of the seatbelt assembly, i didnt trust em they'd prolly make up something to keep the 100$. I'm just wondering with this seatbelt control box, no check lights come up or anything and the car seems to act just fine, but im wonder if the seat belts operate properly when u hit the brakes, i need to test. The seat belt warning control box is huge, i thought it was a cpu.

i removed the seatbelt safety module under the passanger seat, just disconnected it, and now the alarm stays off, but the electronic seatbelt retractor doesn't work which is alright, but im trying to figure out if the brakes still work with the seatbelts.
