I have a 2001 Accord Ex with a factory installed security system. I disconnected the battery and cleaned the terminals. AfterI reconnected the battery I had to enter my 5 digit code to reset the anti theft device on the radio. The problem I am having is getting the security system to set. When I lock the car doors and the hit the lock button the security system will not set, Has anyone had this [roblem before or know if there is a way to reset the security system. Thanks for any advice

 

Did you close the hood? It needs to be shut for the alrm to set.
