should I change my spark plugs?

Thanks. I will save this information for future use. I guess I don't need to do anything right now, and hopefully I'll have time to do this myself when I actually do need to change the plugs, etc.
UhOh, I agree there is nothing major to fix. There are a couple minor issues, as I described, but no obvious problems with the plugs, etc. However, I consider plugs to be more of a scheduled maintenance (aka preventative maintenance) operation. Mechanics and manuals all seem to recommend inspecting/replacing on a regular time interval, so I wanted to check if in reality knowledgeable users go more by miles. I cannot imagine my plugs degrading when not in use, but maybe there are other concerns like seizing or something. Anyway, people here seem to go more by miles, so I'll trust that. Thanks.

They're due by calendar time, but not by miles. It's a kind of judgement thing, especially if the car only does short trips. Like a couple miles or less.
Keep the sparkplugs in the back of your mind in case your car starts acting like it needs a "tune-up". And it won't cost you anything (except a couple hours sleep) to check for arcing in the plug wires.

You probably are already tried them yourself , as a 2004 comes with iridium plugs unlike the OP's 1994. That is unless someone changed them out to a different type of plug.

Hondadude is a tech that posts on here a lot. He would always say that the platinum plugs could cause cold start-up problems. He always said to use the OEM plugs for your car. I would assume the iridium plugs could cause the same problems, as they both have smaller electrodes.
Since the plugs are simple to change, I would stay with the v-power plugs recommended for your car (this is for the 94 accord poster). Plus they are about $2 each, compared to $10+ for the iridium.

Newer cars have been calling for expensive, long-life sparkplugs. Not suggesting you go against what's called for - for YOUR year car - but the thinking is something along these lines...
If you change the plugs yourself, the cheaper plugs, changed at 30k or whatever, cost less. Spending 4x as much, to get 3x the lifespan, doesn't make sense at first glance. But if you pay a shop to change them, or if you decide you'd like to spend less time in the garage, then the expensive 100k-mile plugs can make sense. Besides, there's a big advertizing advantage when a car company can say "No tuneups for 100k miles". That doesn't mean the plugs actually work BETTER. Just longer.
