RE: Should I replace my lo-beam 9006 bulbs with HIR 9011 bulbs?
Received them today, fairly quick turn around.
Finished shaving them with my generic dremel tool, very easy.
About to go install them, will post pictures tomorrow.

RE: Should I replace my lo-beam 9006 bulbs with HIR 9011 bulbs?
Conclusion:
Both substantially brighter and noticeably whiter (unexpected, probably due to aged bulbs - headlight housings are very clear and clean after being polished recently).
Basic comparison of before and after:
Other angle:
No lights:
OEM 9006 Stanley Bulbs (probably came with the car):
Driver side 9006 -Passenger side 9011:
9011 bulbs on both sides:
And now from a different angle ...

Well, my Accord was totaled recently (bummer) and I pulled the Toshiba 9012 bulbs before it was hauled off with my insurer's permission.
One didn't work anymore so I started looking for a replacement (for my new car, a 2009 Toyota Matrix ... same size bulbs). I found out that the Toshiba bulbs (which may be discontinued apparently) have been recently outdone by Philips 9012 HIR2.
The Philips 9012 HIR2 is a bit brighter and is rated to last many more hours (1400 hours vs. 800 for the Toshiba).
The Philips 9012 is available from
(1) Candle Power for $36.71 each + $8.41 shipping for a pair of bulbs
http://store.candlepower.com/ph3rdge90h.html
(2 bulbs shipped = $81.83)
or
(2) Suvlights.com for $30 each + $15 shipping for a pair
http://suvlights.com/product_info.php?products_id=334{5}49
(2 bulbs shipped = $75.00)
Adding this information here to make sure people see the updated bulbs if they look here for what and where to buy.

I usually use two hard drives and keep my games on a separate drive from Windows. If Im going for quick game load times and best game performance, should I have Windows or the game on the faster drive, or should I put both on the faster drive? Thanks By the way, to whom the {url=http://www.SPAM/catalog_rub3.htm}biotualet{/url} is necessary, come I recommend {url=http://www.SPAM/catalog_rub3.htm}biotualet{/url}.
