Question Side buttons on 05 Accord Nav not working...volume etc.

Hi,
Realized my original post was in the wrong place, so reposting here..

Just bought an 05 Accord EX-L w Nav. The actual buttons on the side for AM/FM; CD/AUX; SCAN; SEEK/SKIP and Volume don't' work ( however power on/off does). The controls on the steering wheel work. Any ideas? My thought is that they are maybe turned off somewhere in a set up screen or something, but I can't find anything. The car is in great shape and everything else appears to be working, seems odd that this would be bad.

Thanks!

It is likely a hardware issue with the audio unit, not a setting turned off.

I think you may be right. I disconnected the battery to 'reboot' it....I can put in the Nav code and get that going. But when I turn on the radio it asks for the code but when I push the 'tune' button to set the number nothing happens....so right now no radio!
Is the unit easy to pull out and check? What would I even check?

FYI for those that need, it, if you have your VIN and serial numbers for your radio and/or nav systems, this website will get you the codes: https://radio-navicode.honda.com/

Well I got it solved...I took it back to the dealer within the 48 hours....they are ordering a replacement unit and installing to keep me from returning the car. Hope it all works this time!
