Default side view mirror 2-Door vs. 4-Door

I found a nice little 92 DX Accord on a pre auction lot a week ago, its a great little find. It has a faulty driver's side mirror. my dilemma is coming in that I can not find a driver side mirror for a 2-door DX. its all for sedans and wagons. Is there a difference, and if there is, why are the 2-door mirrors so blasted hard to find?? The mirror is manual (not power)

I don't know the answer, but ebay suggests that they are the same.

New TYC 90 91 92 93 HONDA Accord Sdn/Cpe RH - Passenger Manual Side Mirror | eBay

What would indicate a difference? Is coupe window not a "surround window" ie, window fits against the roof line and not an outer frame that's part of door.

good luck

Literally every one of those eBay listings, and parts suppliers have the mirrors specifically labeled Sedan or Station Wagon. Nothing labeled coupe. when I pull up specifically a 92 accord DX 2-door on the eBay it always says not compatible. I'm stumped

The enclosed listing says it's compatible w/ coupe. Suggest contacting them to confirm. Do you have old part to examine/compare? You should be able to return a non-compatible part if that happens.

good luck

Another option is to look up the OEM part numbers for the 92 DX sedan and coupe to see if they have the same part number on a site like hondapartsnow.com

going to have to go the junkyard route. still running in to listings for only sedans and wagons, even on part number sites.
