My signal lights work until I step on the brake. Then brake lights come on but no signal works. Also when in park and I put on a turn signal there is a clicking noise that comes from under the gear shift and it makes a rhythmic clicking. Dangerous for city driving!!! HELP!

 

Hmmm, I'll need a little time to study this problem, but first I need to find that 79 accord manual and schematic......it's around here somewhere.......

 

Sorry-- I forgot to say----My car is a 1998 Honda Accord. You may need to know this in order to help.

 

Are those circuits thru the multiplexers? If so, they might be different 2-door vs. 4-door and LX vs. EX.

But very often, strange behavior like that is caused by bad grounds.
