Silicone Paste?
I believe heat sink silicones usually have conductive properties and can be metal based and contain all sorts of other materials, so I wouldn't use it as a lubricant.
Edit: A quick wiki of it revealed that they can be metal, ceramic or even carbon based.

I would not use thermal heat conducting grease. It is not a lubricant.
There is a very nice video on youtube by ericthecarguy about replacing the window run channel on a Honda Accord. He lubed the inside of channel w/ some type of silicone grease and outside w/ silicone spray to assist installation.
If window is pushing run channel out, the run channel may be damaged (cut allow window to enter) or window may be loose/misaligned.
A new run channel can be installed as you'll see in the video. Biggest part of job is door panel removal and window removal. Not too bad a job. I've done this several times to replace regulators.
