slave cylinder fitting '98 accord

Default slave cylinder fitting '98 accord

Hello all, need help asap. I was replacing my slave cylinder and while I was hammering out the cotter pin for the fitting the whole unit itself broke apart including the fitting that goes into the slave cylinder. I have a new slave cylinder ready to go but now I cant seem to find a replacement fitting. The dealer seems to have the whole replacement hydraulic hose for approx $200. I just need that fitting. Has anyone had this issue? Might have to end up at a hydralic and fiitng shop...thanks

What part number in the pic below did you break?

it should be where #15 o-ring hooks up to. from what i understand the whole hydraulic hose has to be ordered. I was told by the dealer that the connector fitting is not sold seperatly.

this is before it all broke apart. its the connector at the end of the line(silver). the connector easily unsrews off the line.

That looks like the bleeder....to me...#6 in the pic from PA.

i realize that #6 is the bleeder valve.. thats not it. its the one next to it, that hooks up the clutch line. hopefully ill find one at the junkyard or get it made at a fitting shop

I think it's like $70 for all the parts cheaper than $200...Now this does eliminate your damper but I have never noticed the difference without one. This makes it where you have a line that goes from master to slave. No hard lines just braided SS line.

sorry for gettin in on this thread a lil late, but I have a 01 EX that has a leak in the rubber section on the clutch line. Has anyone come up wit a fix of cutting out the rubber portion of the line and replacing with a braided???

Or if the parts shown in the above post from SummitRacing will work replacing the whole line on a 98-02 model????

Any help greatly appreciated before I have to by the complete OEM type of line and attempt to install.........
