Default a slight miss

so i have a 02 accord 4 cyl 5 speed, and it has a miss. its been there since i got it a few months ago, the previous owner told me about it but couldnt figure it out. so i checked the cel codes and got lots of them, i'll put them in the order that my code reader read them off to me.

po301; po325; po302; po303; po304; po300; po1399

so i did change the plugs and wires and cleaned up the cap and button, but it hasn't helped at all. any help would be appreciated

Can you have the coil tested?

I put another distributer in and it is still the same miss. I just ordered a new knock sensor, so could that be causing all my misses?

Its not a really bad miss, I just did a 200 mile trip with it and got 27mpg while traveling at 70.

Do you have a timing light?

I use a timing light to find misses on cars.Just hook the lead up to each wire one at a time, and if that particular cylinder is missing, you will see the flashes from the timing light pause between misses.May have to have someone rev the engine to 2500 rpms and hold it there while you check,if it doesnt show anything at idle speed.

One time,I had a bad connection inside the plug boot on one of my cars. When I pushed the plug wire boot onto the spark plug,it felt like it did grab or push on,but on further inspection, the metal clip inside was broken,so it caused a miss. One other time, the metal clip inside was pushed inward the boot to where the plug did not actually snap together in there.

Check each wire carefully and each plug for cracks, broken connections, etc.
Check plug gap even if its pre gapped already.

The knock sensor is there to retard the timing if your engine knocks or misses. It "hears" it and sends the signal to the computer to retard the timing to try and keep it from detonating too much. Not sure if a new one is going to fix it,but it wont hurt to put new sensors and etc on if the old ones are original and its within the budget to do so.

You can check each plug after the engine cools off,and compare the color, how much blackness, gas or carbon or etc is on each. The bad cylinder will always be the dirtiest one, unless one is running very lean,it will have white spots on it.Thats when you have to listen for a possible vacuum leak(s).

I tried the timing light and I think its mostly comming from #1. The on on the outside pass side. Which side do you start counting on Hondas? And what is the firing order?

Thanks

I dont know the firing order off hand for that engine, but can you describe the flashing coming from the first plug wire as compared to others?

They should flash faster as you rev the engine.Any pauses is a possible sign of no spark or a miss.

Its more noticeable at idle. Its just not a constant flash, it will flash smoothly for a few seconds then it pauses then flashes and pauses then flashes smoothly for a bit. I swiched the plug wires to see if that changed anything but it was the same.

Order 1-3-4-2 with #1 on the "belt end" of the engine.

Does this happen all of the time or only once the engine is at normal op temp?

It was happening all the time but now seems fine. I don't like it cause I really didn't do anything to fix it. The only other thing I did was a compression test on it, and theirs no way that would do anything. Oh and I got roughly 170 on all the cylinders.
