I wasnt sure where to put this and i dont trust h-t that much on my money questions [:'(]

When i have a non-op vehicle do i need to take it to a

a. state ref
b. smog test only station
c. normal smog station


I know in other states its different but i need to know about california. Car has been in california and is registered as non-op according to DMV

I tired callin DMV and spent about an hour trying to find out about it but no answer...
