Sport mode?

Default Sport mode?
Just got my new Accord Sedan with CVT and Sport mode. What does Sport mode mean? It has "S" on the shift. Is it safe to drive in the "S" position?
Just curious.

Owners manual should have an explanation, or ask the dealer.

I'm pretty sure "sport" mode changes the behavior of the CVT towards the sporty/performance side. Little better responsiveness, higher RPM, less MPG. It is safe to drive that way.
