Sputters and stalls 2001 coupe
This question is about my granddaughters 2001 Accord coupe with the V-tech engine. She bought this car used about 4 months ago and the owner had repair receipts indicating it had been taken care of. It has been very reliable for about 3000 miles until today. She drove to work with no problems. When she tried to go home the engine turned and briefly started but then stalled. After a few of those it started and she got about 1 mile before it stalled on the road. Now on the side of the road it tries to start running for about 10 seconds then stalls. Multiple tries and it no longer runs even for a few seconds, but if it sits a while back to the previous behavior. I'm guessing it's a fuel system problem (plenty of gas in the tank). I'd appreciate some suggestions of where to start. My Honda experience is limited to my wife's 1991 SW.
Thanks for any help,
Bob

Is this the four or six cyl engine?
I'm leaning towards an issue with the key switch - just the electrical part - or the main relay.
When it won't start. turn the key to on/pos II, the cel should come on for ~3 seconds and you should also hear the fuel pump prime - hard to hear so turn everything off that makes noise (door closed, radio, blower motor, ect).
