Default re

Whenever I reset the code, it blinks twice and comes back on immediately. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Are you using following link and procedure?

DIY Guide: How to Reset your SRS Light. (Visual Guide) - Club RSX Message Board

It does say that timing is critical and you may need to repeat procedure.

good luck

Default could there be a short on the circuit?

Yes I was following the same procedure. I tried it over and over again but everytime I tried it, it blinks twice and comes back on. I was thinking that there might be a short somewhere that is causing it. I don't know what to do. I would really appreciate it if you have any advice.

There don't appear to be any promising possibilities to explore.

You may be better off to go to Honda shop for help. However, they likely will replace the SRS and ask "what now" if that doesn't fix the problem.

good luck

Default I too have the same problem, but found a very unusual cause.

I recently purchased a used instrument gauge cluster because the fuel gauge does not work correctly in the original one. Once I replaced the instrument cluster, the newly-installed one works correctly in every way with the exception of setting off the SRS light. Every time I try to reset the SRS light the end result is two blinks and its back on again. Given the car had no problems before I change the instrument cluster, I proceeded to put the old one back in, clear the code and now the car works fine but I'm back to a broken fuel gauge, so that's my next mission. Hope this helps.
