I talked to her last night. The car IS a 1999. She said she replaced the battery and that was the problem. Didn't seem logical at all to me but apparently it has been running fine since. I guess if the problem reoccurs I will know why. Thanks

 

I'm glad she got it fixed! Strange that it was the battery... unless it was shorting out internally or something.... I'd still advise her to see if she needs or has had the recalls done.... free repairs and most dealerships don't mind doing them since they get paid for them and they're easy enough to do...
