Default Start problem

1995 Honda Accord EX
V6 4 Door

Whenever I do not use my car for a few days (Example I was away for 5 days and just returned), my car will not start immediately. It takes a few trys before it will start. This is the only time I ever have this issue. Only if I have not used the car for a few days. I repeatedly try the ignition and make sure it is firmly in park several times before it will start. Any explanation?

Fuel pressure leaking down? Try pausing the key at "ON" for a second or 2 while the fuel pump runs.

hook up a fuel pressure gauge and see what pressure is at when car is hard to start,,,,,,

possibly the chk valve in the fuel pump is not holding pressure

Civics had a big issue with that

Or I would suggest, as desert suggested to me before. Put your model in your signature, then you don't have to remember.
