I am having issue with my 2007 Honda Accord Coupe starting. I had the battery recharged but still wont start. Every light is out, but if I press the brakes the brake lights will come on.

 

When a car won't start, you need to be specific on what is happening. When you first turn the key to start your car, the starter should turn the engine. You release the key when the engine is running on its own.

Is the starter spinning the engine, or will the engine not run on its own?
