Steering rack help

I have a 1996 lx accord 5 speed. I attempted to install a new steering rack a good few weeks back, but the spot where the rack bolts up into had stripped out. I attempted to drill it and retap it, and when I went to put the bolts in, it tore out the housing that the threads were in, so now I have a loose steering rack with no way to bolt it up. Does anyone know what part it is that the rack bolts to, or any ideas to mount it solid. It looks like some subframe, but idk what I’d call it to buy a new one, or if it’s even worth the trouble to install a new one.
