Default Sticking Drivers Window

2000 Accord SE with 85k. The drives sticks when lowering the window. The dealer lubed it with CRC. No change
He told me I might have to replaced the door seal track that the window rides up and down on
Do I have any other choices?

Thanks
Gary

what did the dealer lube? the window or the track?

Try some silicone grease on the edge of the glass and the track that the glass slides up and down on.

I had a dealer tell me the same thing (without looking at it) he said typically when they replace the regulator/motor they replace that track and I said ok and ignored him... My window was binding on the front track. Make sure the front of your window is rolling up in between the rubber pieces properly. Also, as the window goes up does it make a strange almost grinding like noise before it stops? Lastly, you can adjust the window by removing the door panel and loosening a few 10 mm bolts to avoid having it bind... let us know a bit more about what it's doing..

hello lostinspace.....Hopefully you found a place here ,,,Weclome to HAF.........

get a can of wd-40, start at the top of channel and spray there. let it work its way down .. do this on both side of track,,, of course..

go up and down with the window and watch the rubber run channel make sure it does not roll up with the window..
