Default Sticky weatherstripping

Ok, the drivers door on my '91 Accord has the two pieces of weatherstripping that is somewhat sticky. I mean, they stick to each other. I have wiped them down with WD-40, and that unsticks them, but only for about 2 or 3 days. Does anyone know of a product that would eliminate this frustrating problem long term?

Try silicone spray or that stuff you use to keep black plastic trim from fading to gray. Or maybe talcum powder.
