Default A strange problem after cold start

Hi everybody, I am new here and first of all I have to say my english is a little bit poor, but I hope you going to understand me.

I read a similar problem on this forum what I have, already.
I have an Accord EX 2.0 (1992 model, WITH CARB). My problem is:
When i start the car in morning the rpm is approx 1500 rpm and slowly goes up to aprox 2000-2500 rpm. I think that there is nothing wrong so far, but it stayes at 2000-2500 rpm even when engine is at normal temperature. Sometimes i can drive 10 km before the rpm goes down to normal.. (about 800)
After that nothing problem with it, works fine same day, everytime I start up the car. BUT: the next day the same thing happens...
What could cause it? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your answers
Regards, Mimez

Well this is going to be a bit hard. Most Accords in the US were FI from 90 on, so that means not many know much about them.

I'm going to use what I know about the 3rd gens. I'd check the fast idle unloader to be sure the "port" is clean and that you are getting vac to it.

Another mod posted this a while back....I think it covers the 4th gen carb'd models
