Default Strange TPS Issue

Recently came to notice my TPS is adjusted to 0 by previous owner. When i adjust it to 0.49 V the car wont let me out of park and shifting become delayed.

Tried ECM Reset and re-learn but of no use. Anything below 0.39 works but above that No Parking brake release.

My Idle Control Solenoid was adjusted by previous owner too. I can see opening/slippage marks on screws.

Car is 2003 accord with k20a automatic transmission

For the purposes of commenting on your post it would help our members if we knew what year, make, and model of car you're posting about.

It is a shift lock; not parking brake release. The PCM thinks the accelerator is depressed and the throttle is open and prevents the shift lock solenoid from energizing (you won’t be able to shift out of Park).

Normally, the voltage needs to be at less than .5 volts (this essentially tells the PCM the accelerator pedal is not depressed and the throttle is closed). -- I already included this info. at the other forum you previously posted. I go by a different user name there.

Either you have an issue with the PCM or throttle/TPS; or your readings are off.
