You may want to search this forum, because I vaguely remember someone else having this issue.

A quick google search showed 2 solutions:

Read this thread. https://www.civicforums.com/forums/1...diag-menu.html

The other result was plugging in a usb keyboard and hitting ctrl+alt+del at the same time to reboot the unit. Saw that a wired microsoft keyboard didn't work, but a wireless usb logitech keyboard worked.

Both are worth a shot and can't hurt to try.

When the diagnosis is in progress, the icon (circled) will indicate "Detecting"

To force completion of the In Line Diag and Linking:
Follow these steps to prevent the screen from appearing in the future:
1. While displaying the In Line Diag screen, press and hold the HOME button, the SOURCE button, and the AUDIO POWER () button until the Select Diagnosis Items menu screen is displayed.
2. While displaying the Select Diagnosis Items menu screen, press and hold the HOME button until the InLine Diag setting screen is displayed.

3. Set the Inline Diag Setting to OK (complete). The system restarts and a normal start-up process occurs. The In Line Diag should not appear again.
