stupid problem
i cant find my pcv. i have looked in the haynes manual, but it is not very specific, and i have been unable to find it searching this site either.
i have a 1987 with a carb. I know it has to be someplace obvious.
thanks for any help

RE: stupid problem
i would have thought it was there also
but the only vacuum line coming off the valve cover goes to the box on the side of the air filter houseing. And that line is connected to the valve cover with a metal line with no pcv, unless its under the valve cover? The haynes book says to test pcv clamp that hose shut and idle should change. that is the correct vacuum line, right?
thanks

RE: stupid problem
it almost sounds like someone removed the pcv valve and replaced it with a metal fitting.... The line normally comes off the pcv in the valve cover then a rubber hose goes to the intake, so if it's not there perhaps it's missing?
