Default Suspension? Issue

My 1992 Accord is making a hollow clinking noise when going over bumps. After quite a few days of trying to find the parameters in which this noise occurs, I have noticed the following:
1. Occurs from 20+ MPH
2. Originates from front drivers side only.
3. Does not occur when the brake pedal is depressed.

I've heard horror stories of people spending lots of hours and hundreds, even thousands of dollars trying to eliminate a similar sound to no avail. Has anyone experienced something similar? Where should I start my search on finding the cause? If you guys have any more questions, just let me know and I'll answer them. Thanks for your help =)

Default RE: Suspension? Issue

You are going to have to look for worn out suspension parts.

One common problem is with worn out bushings on the sway bar. Also check the endlinks. There are two sway bar bushings, and they can start to wear out allowing the sway bar to clunk around. It is an easy DIY job. I think there is a writup in the DIY section, so start checking there there.

Then move on to checking the bushings on the control arms and the radius rod.
