Default Sway Bar bushing bolts

My sway bar bushings were making that squeaking noise (thanks go to deserthonda bringing these bushings to my attention). Anyways, I started to unbolt the bushing bracket to clean/lub them and of course it was incredibly hard to get these bolts to move at all. I've broken numerous bolts on this car already due to rust (broke sway bar linkage bolt today as a matter of fact) and I don't have time this weekend to dig out broken bolts or anything. My question is, where do these bolts go into? Are there nuts welded on the opposite side like on other parts of the car or does it just go through threads on the bracket?

The brackets simply have holes to put the bolt through. The threads are on the underside of the car, welded in place.

WD-40 is your friend.... drench them repeatedly and let it soak in, try to get in behind the plate and spray the threads so it can run down into the threads and nut.

If they're bad, you can find better stuff than WD-40.
Kroil, Liquid Wrench, or PB Blaster...

Also you might have to put some heat to them to get them loose:

Just don't flame a wet petrolium based penatrant!!! In case you don't have pyro friends that have burned everything under the sun, WD-40 is flamable!!!
