Default Tail lights stayt on

97 Honda Accord LX, Manual. Yesterday after parking in the driveway, I noticed that although the switch was turned oof, the tail lights were still on. the only way I could get them to turn off was to pull the fuse so as not to run down the battery. so now I have to put the fuse in to drive and pullit out to park. Any ideas?

Check to see if the rubber/plastic stop for the brake light switch broke off.

Like Redbull said. it is likely that little plastic stop. It's not always easy to get that sucker in though but cheap fix.
