tank replacment '98

Default tank replacment '98

ok so i got this fuel leak from the tank b/c for some reason honda still uses metal tanks, so to the point i am replacing it and when i get the new one, would it be wise to coat it in truck bed liner?

It wouldn't hurt anything... my tank has that thick rubbery corrosion inhibitor coating on it.... I don't know why a new one wouldn't.

If you miss a spot, in such a way to let water underneath the edge of the coating, then you've made it worse. So I'd probably coat it, but be very careful to do it completely.
