TCS Re-learn?
I have an 04' Accord Sedan with the 3.0 vTech engine.
I had my right ball joint go out, so a mechanic replaced it and the CV joint to fix the wheel.
In the process, my right wheel speed sensor got damaged so it was also replaced.
The ABS started working immediately after the speed sensor got fixed, but the TCS light is still on.
Specifically, when I first turn on the car, just the ! triangle relating to the TCS is on, and then after I start moving (like 30-60 seconds after) the "TCS" indication also comes on.
The mechanic said that because the wheel speed sensor got replaced, the TCS needs to "relearn" and those indications should disappear after 24 hours-ish.
I just got the speed sensor changed today - but I'm a bit suspect at what the mechanic told me.
Is there really a "relearn" involved for the TCS system?
