Default TCU fix,DIY it's pretty easy

Thanks for everyone's advice,I was able to fix the problem.Texas Honda guided me to the DIY for "S" light flashing, turns out it was my TCU after all.I followed the directions on replacing the resistors and capacitors, car works great. It was pretty simple,I'm a mechanic by trade, but if you're good with your hands you can do it,it wasn't too hard.you can get everything you need at a local Radio Shack,or similar store,I spent $20.,but I already had a soder iron.Good luck to anyone who attempts this,I'd be more than happy to help anyway I can. It'll save you alot of money, and with these gas prices you'll need it.

Does anyone know for sure what years this affected? Mine's a '92, and I thought the TCU problems with bad components only applied to 90-91.
If a '92 can have these same problems, please let me know so I can "head it off at the pass" before it becomes a more serious issue.
Mine has thrown 1,2,7,8 codes, much like what's described in the write-up.
I'm an EE, so replacing components would be easy.
Thanks!
Jim
