Default Temperature hand

Hey guys need help. Temp hand just started staying on the cold side?? Car still runs great, never overheats. But heater started not heating as good. If i drive it in town and let it set for a few minutes and start it back up temp hand will come up a little and heater will work good for a few minutes then temp hand will drop back to cold. It is a 90 model accord, auto 140K + miles but runs great. Don't want to ruin a good car. Any help would greatly be appreciated. And where is the thermostat located on these cars?? I know sounds like a newbie, but not to old V8 engines. Thanks.

Sounds like the thermostat is sticking open. The T-stat is located at the LOWER radiator hose. Follow that hose over the transmission towards the back of the engine. T-stat housing is located kinda below the throttle body.

This isn't gonna become a long procedure, so I'll move it to the General Tech. area.

Default T-stat

Thanks Jim. I will try T-stat and see if that helps.
