Time for timing belt??
I have a 99 EX V6 with 90K. I'm thinking it's time to replace timing belt. It doesn't have any bad symptoms. Wondering what you guys think? Any other maintenace I should do at the same time? Water pump?
Also have an 02 Odyssey V6 with 80K. Wondering if I should do that one soon also.
Thanks.

RE: Time for timing belt??
if you got thr extra money do them both ,, if tight on money do the 1 with the higher mileage 99 v6..
you got to keep in ming that the miles on the odometer are not the actual miles on the t-belt, especially if you do mostly city driving. . anytime the you are stopped at traffic lite or behind traffic, miles do not roll up on the odometer but engine is still turning , so t-belt has more miles than indicated on odometer

as Sir-nasty said on doing water pump , it is not a question if you can afford it,, but a must once everything is apart .. also replace the hydraulic tensioner and outer belts

RE: Time for timing belt??
A number of people have bought timing belt "kits" and had good luck with them (water pump, seals etc) personally though I'd make sure that at least the belt and water pump are OEM Honda, the other stuff is kind of up to your discretion...
