The shop manual only says to replace the timing belt at 90K miles. There is no time limit for changing the timing belt in the shop manual.

Other member suggest 7 years or 90K miles. I'll let other members who are techs voice their opinion.

Don't forget, that belt is 13 years old now, eventhough you have a low mileage engine (which is pretty impresive by the way, I'm at 212K on my 95).

I know my manual gives a time limit on the t-belt, I don't know what it is exactly, but it goes like this, "Replace the timing belt and ***,*** miles or * years, whichever comes first." Inspect your belt for cracks and chunks taken out, it's a lot cheaper to replace the belt than the cylinder head and pistons.

My 94 Honda Accord shop manual maintenance chart says 90k miles or 72 months (6 yrs) which ever comes first. You're way overdue. Better get it changed.

Odd, the 94-97 Accord manual download from hondahookup.com that I have says 60k miles or 60 months (same as 90-93 model years).

Either way, you're due.

good luck

90K or 6 years but I never had a problem with my 94 accord when I changed the belt at 91K and 7 years. The current belt is 7 years old and has only 70K on it....

hoses are original from 1994 and the belts are the same age as the timing belts
