Default tire pressure question

just curious, normally your tire pressure max is 35 psi , the size of your tire would normally display that parameter. mine is a 195/65 r15 all weather tire but my front onesreads 44psi max load and my rear ones are the norm 35 psi. now my question is what should i pressurize my tire to, since the max is 44 psi. is this normal for that size of tire? has anyone of you guys had this issue before? thanks for any inputs.

NO, NO, and NO!! That is the MAX pressure, not the normal operating pressure. Obviously you have two different brands/types of tires on your car. Go with the recommended pressure but you can vary it by raising it by 2-3 psi for a little better handling.

Honda put a sticker in the door jam with their reccomended pressure. It should give the best mix of performance, tire wear and ride quality. You can adjust them up or down to your driving preference, just dont go over the tire manufacturers max.
