Default 92 Accord trans

I have the 2.2L. The trans seems to be shifting late. When it does shift it seems to go into gear at to high of an RPM. I woulndt say it is slipping at all though. Is this the start of the TCU going out. From what I have read on the forums seems there are alot of TCU problems with this car. Any knowledgable info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would first check the pressure lever cable from the throttle body to the trans.
adjustment check; With the lever at full slack rest a long screwdriver on the end of the lever and hold it; with your other hand start pulling slack from the throttle cable. At the exact time the engine RPM starts to rise the pressure lever should move slightly.
Driving Test; going along a level road under light throttle at 25 MPH and then floor the gas pedal, the trans will downshift to 1st gear.
Repeat the same drive at 28 MPH and floor the gas pedal the trans should downshift to 2nd gear.

have you tried the adjustment at the throttle cable ( cable that goes into the tranny lever ) like DUDE suggested ?
the checkout he told you to do is fairly easy.. if the lever moves to early or to late , loosen up the lower 12mm nut , then the top 12 mm nut to adjust cable accordingly .
