Too much $ on 1986 Accord; advice to maintain?
Well, I'd owned a 1993.
Currently own '92 5spd, and '97 A/T.
Well until Friday when I bought a one owner 1986 LXi, 5 spd.
Prior owner had bought a new car, but liked this one so much that they'd kept it for the last years with minimal driving.
Nice tire tread remaining and cold A/C, BTW.
Now I have to decide which Accord I keep and which to sell to my son, who is interested... thoughts?
So - reason for this thread - for those with this generation Accord or knowledge of it, what should I/my son look out for?

No dents. New windshield. New muffler.

All lights, wipers and washers work.

Inside looks very good

Current odometer reading: 104,968

Look at how much work has been done in the last 2 years w/ minimal driving. Receipts. Wow!

Well, as you know, I like the 3rd gen's
. So an 86 LXi 3 door 5 speed with only 100K miles....I'm in 
The one thing I didn't see was the water pump? I saw the t-belt but on these the t-belt does not "drive" the water pump. Anyway, not a hard part to change.....part of the water pump is behind the timing cover but you can change the wp without removing the entire lower timing cover (in other words you do not have to remove the crank bolt to do it).
