Ok so my transmission lost 3rd gear. I have tried to search but no clue what this would be labled ***. I purcahsed a used transmssion from salvage yard. i swapped out the transmission last night. bolted everything up and finally the last part. I get to the torqueconverter bolts. Well this torque coverter is bigger than my flex plate. This is an 06 i am working on. I called the dealer ship to see which model would come with a bigger converter. They old me from like 99 to present all v6 models list the same. even the Odssey is the same size. I really need to get my car going. Any help or info in the right direction on what to search for would be great. Thanks Marl

 

If the dealer says the converters are all the same, the only other thing I can think of is if the bolt holes are indexed, meaning some holes are offset to allow the converter to bolt up only one way.
