tranny fluid change

Default tranny fluid change

what oil should i use on my 03 accord i4 tranny it hit 43000 miles and i assume that i need an tranny fluish. any recommended oil for hard driving?

assuming its an automatic, you should use honda OEM ATF Z1, dont use anything else. just drain it and fill it. If your overdue, drain it and fill it twice, but go for a drive in between changes.

For an automatic, I would probably stick with Honda fluid.

amsoil is a good substitute, also the castrol import multi vehicle

I would stick with ATF-Z1 also, knowing Honda auto's lol. Or the GM stuff i the Honda makes the tranny grind more.

what do u mean hondas autos is there a bad story about them not using stock tranny oil?

6th-gen (98-02) auto trannys are delicate. Not sure that applies to yours - completely different tranny.

no you don't, just get the Honda fluid
