Default Tranny Swap 1997 Accord

I live in Canada and I have an automatic 97 Accord. I want to get rid of it because I want a manual transmission but my father says I'm stupid. As far as I know, tranny swaps aren't easy... especially for someone like me... I'm just wondering if there are people that would do one for me?

Any decent honda mechanic would probably do it for you.... you would be better off though to try and find a manual accord like yours and just trade... To do the tranny swap you'll need the tranny, axles, shift linkages, maybe ecu, stickshift, and center console (at least...) and all that stuff together is going to be around $3000.00 It's been done and it's possible but more financially intelligent to just trade your car in or straight accross....

I agree with Sir, its just smarter financially to trade your car for an Accord that is already manual. I hate to say that, because its kind of a cop out, but its really the best option. It will save you a lot of money, time, and heartache.
