Does anyone have any info regarding transmission year interchanges? Are all 98-02 2.3L auto transmissions interchangable or are they year specific? Thanks.

 

All interchange.......all have issues IMHO. I'd have it rebuilt with upgrades like the link speaks of....but that is me.

Thank you. Sonnax builds some great stuff. I've got a lot of their products in my truck. I was mainly inquiring because I am thinking of buying a core to build so my car isn't torn down while it's being done. I wasn't sure if it had to be year specific or body style specific.
