Hey guys, I'm working on a 91 Accord with an auto trans, and after doing the driver's side axle I discovered that the transmission won't shift out of part. Also if I put a wrench on the axle nut on the passenger side the axle will spin, on both sides, in park. I have tried everything to get it to shift (the little switch, reconnecting the battery, etc) and it will not budge out of park. What the frell did I do?!

 

When you turn the wheel on one side of the car, say forward, does the wheel on the other side of the car turn backwards?

 

I believe it does, I'd have to check again, but I do think so. I feel kinda silly because I totally forgot that CV Axle vehicles do that. It's a buddy's car, all of mine are RWD/4WD.
