Transmission maintenance
Now that I am pulling the engine/auto trans from my 96 Accord, is there any maintenance issues I should do on the trans while it is laying out in the open? Or, would it just be better to order a trans along with the JDM engine? '96 Accord EX 142k miles. Thanks

RE: Transmission maintenance
the only thing it may need is a drain and re-fill with some fresh Honda MTF fluid... As long as the clutch, throw-out bearing and pressure plate are fine there's no need to mess with it.

you might want to replace the axle seals while tranny is out , shifter shaft seal, frt tranny case seal and torque converter o-ring , other than that, if you got no issues with its operation , just put new ATF-Z1 Honda fluid ..
