It happened last week. It is a A/T 1999 Honda Accord Coupe. When i come to a red light going about 40Mph and start slowing down and the light turns green my Mph is around 10 and i hit the gas to accelerate there is a jolt in the transmission. Like it doesn't know what gear it needs to be in. Other than that it runs fine. Do I have a Big Problems?

if you are sure you have complete maint records showing proper maint schedule was followed, try calling HOA after you get a Honda dealer to diag the problem and see if they will good will it. Otherwise pay the HONDA dealer or a shop that will use a HONDA REMAN TRANS to change out the trans. I would not go used or rebuilt on this trans. Trust me I am speaking from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. I had a 1998 lx-v6 coupe that ate 3 transmissions during 11K miles after I paid 3600 for a rebuild on the one in the car.
