2003 Honda Accord V6 EX revs before shifting between Second and Third Gear and acts like it Slips or something. Honda Place done flush kit and replaced oil, before it was worse than it is now, it would do it in the other gears sometimes to, do you have any suggestions.

 

Is the tranny fluid still dirty? Was that the first time you had your tranny oil replaced? If so how many miles does the car have?

 

Car has 116000 miles, oil had never been changed, don't know how many times Honda flushed but I assume on time, don't know

 

how long have you owned the car? should be changed every 15k miles.

i think you're out of extended warranty on it...if it was ever covered.

You shouldnt flush the trannys on these cars. Just drain, replace, drive, x3.

 

are you sure that this is happening on the 2-3 shift and not 3-4? On 3-4, this is normal (lock-up solenoid disengaging).

 

I bought the car brand new and I am pretty sure that it is between second and third gear it has gradually got worse, changed the oil and it is better, but still the same problem.

 

Do a few Honda ATF changes ad look for the tranny cooler DIY.
