Unhappy Tried Everything.. Still won't start..

My 1991 Accord won't start. It hadn't been started in a few years. Pulled it in and got it to fire up and run twice, it hasn't since.
I have spark. Fuel pump is working, replaced fuel filter, replaced the MFR relay. Smelled fuel in the oil so I replaced the fuel pressure regulator.. Cleaned the injectors.
I know I'm getting fuel through the fuel rail, and back out through the fuel pressure regulator. I do not know if I'm getting fuel through the injectors.
Starter is good, alternator is good, battery is good. I'm at a loss on what it could be at this point. Please help..

Just to be thorough, is this a crank/no-start where the starter motor cranks the engine and it doesn't fire up, or a no-crank/no-start where the starter doesn't crank the engine when you turn the key to start the car?

I've got crank, but no start. Even had it running twice before.. but it hasn't started again.

A quick way to verify you are missing fuel is to remove the throttle body snorkel and spray staring fluid into the throttle while as assistant cranks the engine. If the engine fires up even if running poorly, you have a fuel delivery problem.

A positive spark test using a spark plug can be misleading, where the coil can't generate strong enough spark under compression. There are spark testers where you can increase the gap to see how much voltage the coil is putting out. So how did you do your spark test?

I actually did try the starting fluid test and it didn't fire. I forgot to mention that, my apologies.

For the spark test I used my inline spark tester, where you plug up both ends and you can see the spark in it. Do you think it could be the coil?

With the starting fluid test, I think you can move fuel down the list of likely culprits. A weak coil is a posibility, but I think there are some other maintenance items to look at first.

Since the car sat for a while, you might want to pull the spark plugs to see if the arm or electrode are corroded or fouled. Remove the distributor cap and see if the rotor or the contacts have corrosion as well.

You can try using a spray bottle with water and mist the spark plug wires, distirbutor, and coil to see if you have spark jumping to the engine block.

Another though is to drain most of the old gas out of the tank and add fresh gasoline, since the car sat for a while. It doesn't explain the negative test on the staring fluid test for fuel.

I also checked the spark plugs and contacts under the cap.
The fuel is definitely old.. But yeah, as you mentioned, the starting fluid test being a fail.. Man, I'm running out of things to check. I think that may be a plus though, knowing I've gone over everything. Lol
Sooo should I try the coil?

I hate recommending spending money on a part that you haven't verified is bad. I'm a fan of u-pull-it junkyards to get inexpenive parts that are typically OEM when you are guessing. The coil would be a guess right now.

A crank/no-start can be fuel, spark, air restriction, timing off, compression loss and other issues. I tend to go after the known problems, like getting fresh gasoline in the tank.

Another thought is to pull the EGR valve and make sure it is not stuck open. You can also pull off the vacuum hose and plug the vacuum hose with an old spark plug to see if the valve is under constant vacuum.

Also check that the spark plug wires are in the correct firing order (1-3-4-2) by going clockwise around the distributor cap looking from the passenger side of the car.
