I have a 1997 accord 4 dr ex 4cyl. and the trunk light stays on all the time. Does anybody know where the switch is. Thanks.

 

open the trunk lid and look at the latch assy in the trunk lid; there should be a removable plastic cover, that will give you access to the switch tab.

But there is a question that begs to be asked here....if you close the trunk lid how do you know the light is on or off?

 

battery kept going dead, after looking around to see what the problem was, lowered back seat rest and noticed trunk light on continuosly. Thanks very much for your help.
