My daughter just called away at college and told me her 94 Accords truck will not latch, I'm 300 miles from her. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the fix is? She opened itusing the inside lever not the outside key.

It would depend on how the trunk latch is failing.

If the trunk is making a clank/bang sound when closing then the spring loaded catch on the trunk is stuck closed, and you'll need a screw driver to push the catch open.

If it is shutting normally and not catching, then the catch on the trunk is stuck or broken.

Try something simple like WD-40 to loosen it up for both cases.
